CHAD JOHNSON GRANTS EVELYN LOZADA HER DIVORCE!

Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson has accepted that his marriage to Evelyn Lozada is over.

The NFL star granted Lozada a divorce on Wednesday, acknowledging that their union is "irretrievably broken," reports TMZ.

The marriage passed faster than Johnson toward the end zone. The couple were married in July, Lozada filed for divorce in August and Johnson filed his divorce papers in September.

But Johnson, unlike Lozada, wants to uphold every part of their prenuptial agreement, particularly the part saying Johnson doesn't need to pay Lozada's lawyer fees.

Lozada requested that Johnson pick up the tab for her attorney. But the wide receiver cited a provision stating that each party would pay his or her own bill.

This isn't the end of Johnson's legal woes. The football star pleaded not guilty on Thursday to a misdemeanor battery charge, according to ABC.

Johnson allegedly head-butted Lozada at their home in Davie, Fla, after she found a receipt for a box of condoms in his car.

"I felt blood coming down my face… and I looked at him and I said, 'You just head-butted me?' And it just — everything just felt if it was in slow motion," she told "Nightline."

Johnson, an avid Twitter user, has tweeted, "I made that bed, i got to lay in it," as well as, "Chad f----d up not Eve..."

Lozada is "ecstatic" to start the next phase of her life, according to TMZ.
