CeeLo Green is back with new music – with a TV twist.
The Grammy winner dropped a nine-song album online Wednesday titled “TV on the Radio,” first reported by Billboard.
The album features Green performing over popular TV theme songs such as “Taxi” “Family Ties” and “Knight Rider.”
The former “Voice” judge surprised fans with the new project, considering that he has been out of the spotlight after a rough few months.
In August, Green pleaded no contest to slipping ecstasy to a woman he met at Los Angeles restaurant in 2012. The woman also alleged that he had sexually assaulted her, but he was not charged with the crime due to a lack of evidence.
Following the trial, Green issued a stream of controversial tweets regarding rape, for which he later apologized.
The backlash over his tweets led Green to delete the tweets and his Twitter account, which he later reactivated.
