Carmelo Anthony Reportedly Wants La La Back

Knicks star Carmelo Anthony isn't ready to transition to a life without his wife.

The all-star forward is attempting to win back his estranged spouse La La amid reports claiming he got a dancer at a gentleman's club pregnant, TMZ reported.

He's reportedly sent text messages to his wife of seven years expressing his love for her while asking her to stay with him.

Additionally, the 32-year-old Anthony has apologized repeatedly and continues to ask La La out on dates or trips away together in hopes of reconciling, according to the gossip website.

Reports surfaced earlier this month revealing that Carmelo and La La — who have a 10-year-old son named Kiyan — had separated.

"They have been fighting for about a year," a source told the Daily News at the time. "The marriage has always been a rocky one, so this is no surprise."

Anthony's alleged infidelity came to light shortly after, with TMZ reporting the New York City dancer claimed she was six-and-a-half months pregnant with the Knicks star's baby.

La La was later seen without her wedding ring, though neither she nor Anthony has filed for divorce. Anthony has been liking his 37-year-old ex's posts on social media since the split.

The two stars reportedly remain on amicable terms as they try to do what's best for their son.

Anthony and La La began dating in 2004 and married six years later.
