Cardi B Rejects Nicki Minaj’s Apology After Calling Daughter Kulture “Ugly”

Cardi B and Nicki Minaj’s days-long feud was coming to a end, Minaj reignited the fire with a “letter” to Cardi’s eldest daughter, Kulture framed as an apology but laced with alleged sarcasm. Minaj’s lengthy post opened directly with, “Dear Kulture, truth is: I did all of this for a bigger purpose and one day you’ll understand,” she explained to the seven year old (who doesn’t have an X account). “You’re a cute child & lots of kids have cute little funny looking gums before they grow into all of their features. One day you’ll see this, so I have to say: I apologize. Her “apology,” posted to X on Thursday night (Oct. 2), coincidentally came after Cardi shared a video of Kulture showing off her press-on nails. The “Super Bass” rapper acknowledged Kulture’s innocence while keeping the heat on Cardi, writing that she is a “child of God & QUEEN” within a community that looks to her for “integrity.” She added, “You’re an innocent child & don’t deserve any of this. One day your mother, aunt & many more will be brought to their knees for what they’ve said AND TRIED to do to my young prophet/beautiful boy. Take care my darling. This isn’t who I am. ”Many readers, including Cardi herself, took the post as anything but a sincere apology. Rather than defuse the situation, Minaj’s message prompted Cardi to write a “letter” of her own to the 42-year-old’s son “Papa Bear” that was deliberately anything but an apology. Dear Papa Perc,” the Bronx star began her letter to the five-year-old (who also does not have an X account). “I’m sorry that your mommy haven’t cut you a birthday cake for the past 3 days cause she can’t take my success or happiness…” Cardi’s post escalated into a string of personal attacks, naming the child’s grandfather, father and uncle’s alleged history of abuse. She wrote, “One day you going to grow up and I hope you understand when a girl says NO it means NO and you can overcome the pedophilia blood you inherited from you your grandfather, father and uncle…” Cardi pleaded with the child to understand her intent: “Please don’t hate me when you grow up cause your mommy rather give me more attention than she gives you ..hopefully when somebody that really cares about her puts her in rehab and get her the help she needs she come out and read you a book.” Cardi doubled-down on what she called a “backhanded” apology in another X post. “Don’t give my child no backhanded apology keep my child name out your mouth cause imma always take you where you don’t wanna go about mine,” she wrote. “honest truth this goin back and forth about kids is really draining my energy. “I don’t wanna keep mentioning kids it feels very nasty and dark but the energy you keep giving my kids imma resend back to messenger.
