Cardi B has called reports that she is suing estranged husband Offset’s record label Quality Control Music “big f—kin lies.”
The “Money” rapper posted a screen grab on Wednesday of multiple news reports claiming she was suing the Atlanta label that puts out Migos’ music and poured cold water on them all with her caption.
“BIG F–KIN LIES wow !” she wrote. “This is sooo scary who come up with this ? Don’t ya know we family!”
The reports are tied to self-described “autograph hound” Giovanni Arnold’s lawsuit alleging that the famous couple orchestrated his beatdown after he asked the “Bodack Yellow” emcee for her autograph outside the Mark Hotel following last May’s Met Gala.
On Wednesday, the Blast reported that in court docs requesting that the lawsuit against her and Offset be thrown out, the rapper had countersued her husband and Migos’ label, which she has a management deal with, claiming that any judgment found against her should be paid by Quality Control and the hotel.
According to the website, the rapper argues in the docs that because Quality Control was responsible for the couple’s security, she should not be held accountable.
To underline how she felt about the reports, Cardi also took a chance to push her new song and Offset’s upcoming album, concluding her caption by writing, “Anyways TWERK record is #29 on billboards and Offset album coming soon and is beautiful.”
