Brooklyn Rapper J$tash Turns Himself In On Charges He Brutally Beat His Girlfriend

Brooklyn rapper J$tash has turned himself in to face charges that he beat his girlfriend unconscious and sent her threatening texts, cops and sources said Wednesday.

J$Stash, 21, whose real name is Justin Joseph, hit his girlfriend, Danielle Phaeton, in the face and body about 3 a.m. on Sept. 15 in the Bushwick apartment the couple has shared for about a year, cops said.

The two were arguing when Joseph allegedly began hitting Phaeton, cutting her lip and nose, giving her a black eye and injuring her head, cops said.

Phaeton, who goes by the name Danii Phae on Tumblr, blogged about the alleged abuse and included photos of her battered face.

"A person I thought and believed I could trust, whom I gave my love/time/energy to brutally punched me in my face repeatedly with his fists while I became slowly unconscious covered in blood in his Brooklyn apartment bed," she wrote.

She wrote that Joseph boarded a flight to Japan and then continued to text her "claiming he will destroy me even more than he already did."

"Do not interpret this as a cry for help this is honestly a decision to speak up against domestic violence for those who cant due to the manipulative acts our abusers inflict on us to never speak up and for those who didn't survive because of brutal domestic violence," she wrote.

"I will not allow myself to sit in the shadows of darkness and disrespect myself for not taking a stand. I am speaking out for all my women!"

The rapper turned himself in to Brooklyn cops about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, sources said.
