Brittany Renner Confirms Divorced From Kevin Gates After 60 Days

Brittany Renner confirms that her recent romance with rapper Kevin Gates wasn’t a fling but it was a legal marriage that came and went in a blink of an eye. She talked with REAL 92.3 LA, the 33-year-old influencer and Basketball Wives star revealed that she and the “2 Phones” rapper quietly tied the knot on April 6, only to sign their divorce papers 52 days later on May 28. Denouncing the reason to be heartbreak or drama, Renner made it clear that “I don’t feel like it was a sucky situation because what is meant to be is always going to be.” She added, “I followed my heart, and that’s what more than most people can say she continued, “There’s no stone left unturned, and there’s no regret. A lot of people, their issue is, even just in dating, in marriage, it’s people just don’t give it their all. They don’t just go for it. But I feel like when you do, you’re at peace with whatever happens because I gave 100 percent. Before the breakup, Renner was singing a different tune, describing Gates as “the most beautiful person inside and out that I’ve ever met” and gushing about the surreal joy of waking up next to him she called their connection a dream come true and shared how her newfound Islamic faith had transformed every aspect of her life. “Islam has made my life better in every single category. And like my husband says, the closer you get to God, the more you get,” she spoke of Gates. “And literally in every category of my life. I mean, dreams happen. Miracles happen once in a while every day. It is been really beautiful. It’s changed my life. It’s for the better.
