R&B crooner The Dream, born Terius Nash, recently issued statement regarding recent allegations of infidelity about his failed relationship with Christina Milian.
"I would love to tell the truth as to why my relationship wasn't successful," The Dream stated in an emotional letter to his fans. "But today that is between me and Christina."
"Its easy to say that its because of another woman or a new relationship but truthfully, its not.”
On June 29th, the R&B singer released his third studio album titled Love King, which features the hit single, "Make Up Bag" featuring Atlanta rapper T.I.
In the song The Dream ironically sings about buying his girlfriend a "make up" bag to compensate for infidelity in a relationship gone wrong.
This only fueled the rumors that swirled when a recent picture of the songwriter/singer and his assistant surfaced on the net last week, featuring The Dream groping his young professional counterpart.
"I'm human and people fall in and out of love, this is life. Nothing's promised or perfect. Neither am I. I am not proud I lost something we once had...love."
On Twitter many fans expressed feelings of sadness, doubt, resentment.
Some even hoped that this could give him content and freedom to write a new album, despite the fact he has issued statements saying this would be his final album using the Dream persona.
"I've cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer, and I've tried to take my own life because of the failure that was looming," The Dream stated.
The Dream's most recent album Love King sold nearly 59,000 copies its first week.
