Bill Cosby’s retrial on sexual assault charges will start April 2, a judge said Friday.
The retrial will be held in the Montgomery County Courthouse in Norristown, Pa., according to an order by presiding Judge Steven O’Neill.
It was originally scheduled for November, but Cosby’s new lawyer, Tom Mesereau, won a delay late last month.
Cosby is charged with drugging and molesting former Temple University basketball manager Andrea Constand in 2004 at his Cheltenham home, where he still lives. He’s denied the allegations.
The fallen funnyman faces up to 30 years behind bars, if convicted.
In June, a mistrial was declared following six grueling days of deliberations.
