IN THE STREETS & ON THE WEB

Big Sean has now suggested that he’s owed millions by Kanye West, who called signing the Finally Famous artist to the label “the worst thing” he’s ever done during a Drink Champs interview on Thursday night. At one point during the interview, Ye joked that his signing of Sean back in 2007 would be on his tombstone. “The worst thing I’ve ever done was sign Big Sean,” he said in the interview. In the same interview, Yeezy also took issue with Sean (as well as John Legend) for in his words working against his unsuccessful presidential bid last year. “Both John Legend and Big Sean, when I ran for office, got used quick by the Democrats. I don’t rock with neither of them,” he said. Meanwhile, Sean announced Thursday night—just as Ye’s interview was debuting—that he had been asked to appear on Drink Champs in the future. He also shared photos of him and Ye together, stating they had been spoken recently. Was just wit this man, he ain’t say none of that!” Sean said. He also refuted Ye’s campaign-focused complaints, noting that he didn’t endorse anyone as he’s “not political.” Furthermore, according to Sean, “none” of what Ye said about him was accurate. But it’s a more specific retort from Sean that’s receiving special attention from fans. Amid the Drink Champs rollout, a fan tweeted that West “owes Big Sean $3M and said he’d give Sean his masters too.
