With her new album, 4, making impact around the map, Beyonce’s single “Run The World (Girls)” has risen to the #1 spot on Billboard’s Dance/Club Play Charts.
Despite speculation that Beyonce’s album hit a bump in the road when the LP leaked online about three weeks ago, Beyonce currently holds 6 singles in the top-75 and sold 313,420 copies to date. This makes for Beyonce’s second solo number-one album. Across the pond in the U.K., Bey's single “Best Thing I Never Had” is number-one on the U.K. iTunes charts.
Now that the album has launched, Columbia/Epic Label Group Chairman Rob Stringer claims that they are in talks of an “extensive tour” for 18-months. Stringer also says that “the main concentration for the next few months is to get this record working everywhere.”
