Beyoncé To Perform At The MTV Video Music Awards

Get ready for a night of Beyoncé history.

Queen Bey is set to perform at this year's MTV Video Music Awards at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. and will receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, MTV announced Thursday.

Other stars that have taken home the prestigious moonman inspired by the late King of Pop include Jackson himself, Britney Spears, Madonna and Justin Timberlake.

Daily News' Confidenti@l was first to report that Beyoncé, 32, would take the stage — without husband Jay Z — at the awards ceremony last week.

"Bey is going to be all over the show," a source told the column. "MTV is still working everything out, but they want her to open the show with a big production."

Beyoncé leads the VMA nominees with eight nods, including Video of the Year for "Drunk in Love," a duet with her rapper beau.

Beyoncé historically does not disappoint at the VMAs as the last time the “Flawless” singer attended a show in 2011, she famously announced she was pregnant with now two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.

Bey rubbed her growing bump while belting out hit song "Love on Top" on stage as the crowd roared.

As to what's in store for this year's performance, described by MTV as" epic," fans will have to tune into the network Sunday, Aug. 24 at 9 pm.

Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, Usher and 5 Seconds of Summer are also set to perform.
