Beyoncé channeled another pop queen on Saturday as she performed a dazzling rendition of Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You."
The 34-year-old "Formation" singer surprised the audience when she took the stage at a benefit show for the Center of Early Education in Los Angeles — the elementary school where her 4-year-old daughter Blue Ivy is currently enrolled, according to Us Weekly.
The world-famous artist then belted the soulful lyrics of Houston's biggest hit before urging fans in the crowd to sing along.
"We love you so much!" Beyoncé proclaimed to the crooning fans.
A number of audience members shared clips on social media of Beyoncé's sparkling performance, which also featured renderings of her own hits such as "Crazy In Love" and "XO."
It's not the first time Queen Bey has covered "I Will Always Love You," which was originally written as a country song by Dolly Parton in 1973 before Houston released her acclaimed R&B version in 1992.
Beyoncé also performed the hit at an Atlantic City show in 2012, just months after Houston passed away, and then again in 2013 as part of her tribute to late actor Paul Walker.
Her latest performance of the seminal track came one day after the autopsy results for Houston's late daughter Bobby Kristina Brown were released to the public, revealing that drugs, as well as her immersion in a bathtub filled with water, led to the singer and TV personality's death last July.
