Beyoncé's ‘Lemonade’ Shut Out At The Creative Arts Emmys

This is sure to leave a bitter taste in Beyoncé's mouth.

The pop star's emotive, hour-long music video for her hit album "Lemonade" was shut out Sunday at the Creative Arts Emmys, which commemorate artistic and technical achievement in television.

Beyoncé's evocative masterpiece did not win any of the four categories it was nominated for, most notably losing out on Outstanding Variety Special honors to late night host James Corden and his wildly popular "The Late Late Show" segment "Carpool Karaoke."

"Lemonade" also missed out on winning in the Outstanding Directing, Outstanding Picture Editing and Outstanding Production Design categories for variety specials.

There's no reason for Beyoncé to be sour, however, as her juicy project dominated last month's MTV Video Music Awards.

The "Formation" singer took home Video of the Year, Best Female Video and Breakthrough Long Form Video at the award show, and her 16-minute performance at the event was among the most captivating moments on the Madison Square Garden stage.

Beyoncé released "Lemonade" in April, stirring up major fan speculation about her husband Jay Z's alleged infidelity behind cryptic lyrics like "He better call Becky with the good hair" in her song "Sorry." The visual album also included a powerful segment featuring the mothers of slain black citizens Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner and Mike Brown holding up photos of their sons.

The Primetime Emmys take place on Sept. 18.
