Beyoncé's Half-Brother Nixon & His Mother Forced Into Public Housing

Being related to Beyoncé doesn't guarantee a share in the pop star’s moneyed lifestyle.
Just ask 4-year-old Nixon, the pop star's half-brother, who was forced into public housing after a judge granted Beyoncé's father Matthew Knowles a cut in child support payments.
The toddler is the daughter of Canadian actress Alexsandra Wright, who had an affair with Beyoncé's father when he was married to her mother Tina.
A California judge lowered Knowles' payments to Wright from $12,000 to just $2,5000 a month. The judge also gave Knowles credit for overpaying Wright, meaning that he doesn't have to cough up further child support for another three years.
The sudden shift in finances forced Wright and her son into public assistance.

Wright insists that she doesn't blame Knowles' wealthy daughters for her plight. Rather, she hopes that Knowles will agree to help raise his son.
"Take accountability," Wright told Inside Edition. "Stand up. Do the right thing. It's not Beyoncé's fault. I don't hold her accountable. I hold the father of my child accountable."
"This article said I blamed Beyoncé," Wright continued. "And again, let me say for the record, it's not her fault. I've never blamed her. I want the best for her. Everyone's in pain."
Wright added that she had gotten "thousands of death threats" from fans of Beyonce who accused her of wanting handouts from the "XO" singer.
