Beyoncé’s much-anticipated visual album “Black Is King” finally dropped Friday at midnight on Disney+. Based on the music of last summer’s “The Lion King: The Gift,” the 85-minute film is billed as “a celebratory memoir for the world on the Black experience.”
Written, directed and executive-produced by the 38-year-old pop superstar, “Black Is King” features cameos from the likes of her Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland, Lupita Nyong’o, Naomi Campbell, Jay-Z and even Blue Ivy.
And this being a Beyoncé project, you’d better believe the fashion is spectacular. All the incredible designers and looks featured in “Black Is King,” as styled by Queen Bey’s go-to wardrobe whiz, Zerina Akers.
