Beyoncé Names Her Biggest Hero In ‘Garage’ Magazine Interview

Beyoncé puts love on top.

The 20-time Grammy winner reveals that becoming a mother has been her greatest accomplishment in a new interview.

“My proudest moment hands down was when I gave birth to my daughter Blue,” the 34-year-old superstar says in a Garage cover story released on Thursday.

The “Formation” singer also spends much of her Q&A with the biannual art and fashion magazine singing mom Tina Knowles’ praises.

“My biggest hero is and always will be my mother. She has taught me about caring for others, working hard and working smart,” Beyoncé says.

“Everything I know about being a mother comes from the examples she has shown,” she adds. “My mother has instilled confidence in my sister and me and taught us to always be grateful.”

The Queen Bey also hawks the empowering tome, “What Will It Take To Make a Woman President?” by feminist author and activist Marianne Schnall for her younger Bey Hive fans. The book collects essays and interviews from great women such as the late poet Maya Angelou and women’s rights icon Gloria Steinem.

“They will inspire you to become a better leader,” Beyoncé says.

Readers had to download the Garage magazine app in order to read the full Q&A. The promotional gimmick forced fans to scan the Beyoncé page in the print edition and on the website with their phones before they could access the slideshow featuring collages of the “Flawless” singer sporting blond cornrows brushed with paint strokes by artist Urs Fischer.

The mag ran a similar interactive digital feature in 2014, when readers who scanned the September cover were able to view a virtual Jeff Koons sculpture.
