BEYONCE DEBUTS HER "I WAS HERE" VIDEO FOR WORLD HUMANITARIAN DAY!

Musical powerhouse Beyonce is lending voice for a powerful message.

The 30-year-old Single Ladies songstress has debuted a new music video to benefit Sunday’s World Humanitarian Day.

Filmed at the UN General Assembly Hall in New York, the emotional performance features Bey belting out her hit, “I Was Here,” from her album 4 to raise awareness for global humanitarian work.

“We all see the headlines and we think what can I really do to help? World Humanitarian Day is an opportunity for all of us to work together to make a difference,” Beyonce says of her champaign with the United Nations. “This is our time to leave our mark on the world and show that we were here and we care.”

But Beyonce’s not the only celeb behind the cause.

Bey’s new video comes after news that Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and First Lady Michelle Obama have signed on to support the singer and her global campaign for World Humanitarian Day.

The campaign asks that people help others through kinds acts and volunteer work on August 19. The goal is to share 1 billion messages of hope.
