ASAP Rocky Gets At Drake On “Stole Ya Flow” Track

ASAP Rocky has finally dropped his album DON’T BE DUMB after years of delays and leaks. On track four of the album, Rocky appears to set his sights on Drake with a diss. He raps, “First you stole my flow, so I stole yo' bitch,” seemingly referencing his long-standing beef with Drake over several issues—most notably accusations that Drake copied his style and Rocky’s relationship with Rihanna. Rocky continues going in on “clones,” rapping, “N****s getting BBLs, lucky we don't body shame / Throwing dirt on Rocky name, turn around and copy game.” The lines harken back to Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s 2024 feud, which included Metro Boomin’s viral “BBL Drizzy” moment and Kendrick’s jabs at Drake’s alleged cosmetic surgery on “Euphoria.” Rocky seemingly confirmed the intended target of the track during a recent episode of Jon Caramanica and Joe Coscarelli’s podcast, Popcast. “I think we all know,” Rocky said to the hosts when they suggested Drake was the subject of the diss. He later agreed when one host stated that the internet was “going to say it’s Drake.” Rocky went on to explain where the tension stemmed from, saying, “I just started seeing people who started out as friends and then became foes. It seemed like they were unhappy for you and, you know, started sending shots. And I think that is what led to any of our misunderstandings, or whatever the case is.” Some of the “shots” Rocky may be referencing date back to Drake’s 2023 album For All the Dogs, particularly the song “Fear of Heights.” In the track’s opening lines, fans speculated that Drake took subliminal shots at Rihanna through wordplay involving “Anti,” the title of her eighth studio album, Anti. “I'm anti, I'm anti/ Yeah, and the sex was average with you/ Yeah, I'm anti 'cause I had it with you/ Okay, I'm auntie like your daddy's sister/ Auntie like a family picture/ And I had way badder bitches than you, TBH," he raps. He then continues, saying, “Yeah, that man, he still with you, he can't leave you/ Y'all go on vacation, I bet it's Antigua,” which was speculated to be a reference to Rocky since he was with Rihanna at the time and has since become the father of their three children, leaving Drake seemingly still sour about his broken relationship with Riri. Rocky did backtrack a bit in the interview when asked again about the track being about Drake, saying, “it’s whoever feel like it's about them The track was a response to shots Drake took on his diss track, “Family Matters” aimed at numerous rappers, including Rocky, where he said, “Even when you do drop, they gon' say you should've modeled 'cause it's mid again/ Smokin' Fenty 'bout it, should've put you on the first one, tryna get it in/ Ask Fring if this a good idea the next time you cuddled in that bed again/ She'll even tell you leave the boy alone 'fore you get your head split again.
