APPLEBEE'S ACCIDENTLY SERVES A TODDLER ALCOHOL INSTEAD OF APPLE JUICE IN HIS SIPPY CUP!

A 15-month-old was rushed to the hospital in a Detroit suburb after he was served alcohol instead of apple juice in his sippy cup.

Taylor Dill-Reese told local television station WJBK that her son was happily sipping what he thought was juice when he began acting rather strange.

"He was saying hi and bye to the walls," she said. "He eventually laid his head down on the table and we thought maybe he was just sleepy."

But when she tasted the apple juice, it turned out to have very low fruit content – it was actually a margarita, she claimed.

Dill-Reese immediately rushed her son to the hospital, where his BAC was .10 – which if he was old enough to drive a car would put him over the legal limit.

Luckily, the tot turned out to be fine – but Dill-Reese is still outraged that a family meal turned into such a frightening experience.

The manager of the Applebee's apologized and the chain promised to launch an investigation into the matter.

But the frightened mom likely won't be returning anytime soon.

"Nobody at the table ordered alcoholic drinks," she said. "So, he definitely shouldn't have received one."
