Amber Rose Gives Birth To Baby Named Slash Electric

Amber Rose is now a mom of two — and the little guy is already a “rockstar.”

The model, 35, and boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards have welcomed a baby boy named Slash Electric Alexander Edwards, the Def Jam Records exec announced on Instagram on Friday, calling the baby a “rockstar.”

“Slash Electric Alexander Edwards.. the world is urs now thank u @amberrose for loving me so much that u put ur body thru it 2 bring my sun in2 the world. I could never be as strong as u. Slash a rockstar,” he captioned a photo of himself and the baby.

Rose announced her pregnancy in April, after Page Six revealed in early 2019 that she and Edwards were dating.

Rose, who is already mom to 6-year-old Sebastian with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa, kept her followers up-to-date with her second pregnancy, from showing off her baby bump on vacation to giving detailed updates on her health.

In May, she revealed she was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, “a condition characterized by severe nausea, vomiting, weight loss, and electrolyte disturbance,” according to the American Pregnancy Association.

“I want to be cute. I want to show off my belly, but I just can’t get off this couch!” Rose said in a selfie video at the time. “I’m tired, and I just want to barf all day, it’s just not fun. But it’s totally worth it.”

The baby is Edwards’ first child.
