AKON SUES HIS FORMER PARTNERS FOR SELLING KONVICT WITHOUT HIS PERMISSION!

Well, that just stinks!Grammy winner Akon claims some former business partners stole his name and slapped it on bootleg perfume - and he's suing them.

The R&B rapper and music producer had talks with the fragrance developers but was stunned when they formed Konvict Cosmetics International and started selling the scent "Konvict" without his approval, the suit says.

Akon wants the company to stop production, according to papers filed yesterday in Manhattan Federal Court. Representatives from Konvict Cosmetics could not immediately be reached for comment.
