Accountant Admits To Stealing $9M From Marc Anthony

A thieving accountant admitted Monday that he pilfered more than $9 million from crooner Marc Anthony — and the Latin heartthrob is so wealthy he never noticed.

Over the course of eight years, greedy bookkeeper Kyle Tessiero racked up millions in charges on Anthony’s American Express card, blowing tens of thousands on high-end strip clubs, travel and fancy meals.

After AmEx questioned one of the suspect purchases, Tessiero turned himself in, said his lawyer, Marc Agnifilo.

“What Kyle did took a great deal of courage,” the attorney said shortly after Tessiero copped to one count of grand larceny in exchange for up to nine years in prison.

Although he’ll never be able to repay what he stole, he plans to sell a boat and a car for about $100,000 as part of the deal, his lawyer said.

The plea agreement gives Judge Laurie Peterson discretion to sentence Tessiero to as little as two years in prison and as much as nine years when he returns to court Sept. 12. He is free on bail.

From 2009 to 2017, Tessiero was living the high life on the Grammy-Award winner’s dime, according to prosecutors. He allegedly hid the theft by using the singer’s bank account to pay off the card.

But the guilt was too much for Tessiero, whose LA-based accounting firm once repped Drake and Pharrell, and he confessed the long-running scheme to Manhattan prosecutors.
