6ix9ine's Music Video Shoot Reportedly Shut Down By NYPD

Last week, 6ix9ine captured headlines after he was involved in a brawl outside of the Los Angeles International Airport. Now, according to TMZ, 6ix9ine's latest video shoot in Brooklyn was reportedly shut down by the NYPD, who also allegedly arrested the rapper.

On Monday night, 6ix9ine announced that he was filming a video in Brooklyn and invited his fans to be a part of the shoot. But at the actual video shoot on Tuesday (Feb. 27), crowds of fans gathered on the street, which resulted in the police making an appearance to shut the event down. In a fan-shot video, a police officer pushed the rapper into the vehicle as a group of officers attempted to calm the rowdy crowd. TMZ said the police arrived at the scene to not only shut down the packed event, but to protect 6ix9ine, whom they felt was in danger amid all the threats he's received lately.

However, 6ix9ine didn't actually have a permit to conduct a video shoot in the Crown Heights neighborhood block, sources told TMZ.

Shortly after reports broke, 6ix9ine posted a video to Instagram with the caption "Never no Ls" to show he's in no danger. "Thought y'all were locking me up? Nah," he said in the video as he's surrounded by another crowd of what appears to be a mixture of his friends and supporters.

6ix9ine recently released his debut mixtape Day69 featuring his viral hit "Gummo" and collaborations with Tory Lanez, Young Thug and Offset.
