Chivalry really is dead, at least if you're 50 Cent.
The rapper has weighed in on the legal troubles facing Grammy winner T.I., saying his wife should take the rap for drugs found in their car.

Cops confirmed yesterday that they seized Ecstasy when they stopped T.I. and Tameka (Tiny) Cottle's Maybach for making an illegal U-turn on Wednesday in West Hollywood.

And 50 Cent has some questionable advice for the couple - delivered via Twitter.

"Man TI and tiny done got picked up agin for methamphetamines and ecstacy," he wrote.

"Dam manTiny gotta take that charge. Say it was yoursBaby."

T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., is in the midst of a comeback after spending seven months in jail on a 2007 gun charge.

He's on probation, which means his latest arrest could send him back to lockup, and his probation officer has already summoned the "Takers" star back to Atlanta.

Police said that after they stopped the rapper's luxury car, they smelled marijuana and seized suspected drugs. Tests were performed on those pills.

"It was a positive for a controlled substance like we thought. It was a type of Ecstasy," said Nicole Nishida, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff.

The newlyweds were released on $10,000 bail while prosecutors weigh formal charges.

R&B singer Ne-Yo said it's time for T.I. to find a new crowd.

"I just feel that he makes a lot of poor decisions when it comes to the people that he surrounds himself with," Ne-Yo told The Associated Press.
