50 CENT REVEALS NEW RELEASE DATE FOR 5 "MURDER BY NUMBERS"

G-Unit leader 50 Cent has updated fans interested in getting their hands on his new Five (Murder By Numbers) solo project and revealed the free release will drop on his birthday.

If all goes accordingly, Fif plans to have his new music released later this week.

"Try to avoid negative people today.my birthday is the day after tomorrow. I'm celebrating already :o)," he tweeted July 4th.

A couple weeks ago, the new album's artwork surfaced online.

50 Cent took to Twitter today (June 15) to unveil the official artwork for his fifth studio album, "Five (Murder By Numbers)." The artwork comes three days after 50 revealed the album title during an interview with Philly's Hot 107.9. The cover features a large bold No. 5 knocked out of a deteriorating concrete wall. Through the cracks, one can see a seemingly-abandoned warehouse up in licking red flames. (Billboard)
After mounted speculation, Fif announced his new LP's title last month.

During an interview with Hot 107.9 Philly (via HHNM), the G-Unit general revealed that the title of his LP will be Five (Murder by Numbers). "@50cent has a new album dropping July 3rd called Five (Murder by Numbers). Make sure you go and get that," tweeted the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania radio station. (HHDX)
In May, 50 said the long-awaited solo project would drop on July 3rd with or without Interscope Records' support.

"There's a lot more business involved [in putting out an album] than the general public is aware of. And that part causes the actual delay with [Interscope]. I'm releasing my album July 3rd, whether is has commercial promotions or not," 50 said in an interview. "My birthday is July 6 and I planned for it. And I'm doing everything that I planned to do regardless if its huge airplay or not. I could care less, I'm putting the record out." (All Hip Hop)
