50 Cent Pays Tributes To Late Grandfather With Heartfelt Message On Social Media

50 Cent lost his grandfather recently, and he’s paying tribute to his “old man.” Fif released a flurry of posts dedicated to the father figure in his life, reminiscing via social media on the old times they shared. “My old man is tuff act to follow, he sacrificed for all of us,” the emcee typed on IG before telling a story. “He made me smile every time I saw him. The last time he went to the hospital he was dehydrated so the nurse couldn’t find a vein. I came in, I said pop you alright? He said no, she stick me again and I’m a start shooting. LOL I almost fell out! South side we out side WTF!” A subsequent post featured a video taken from the Queens rapper’s 2002 Get Rich or Die Tryin’ documentary. A young 50 talks about who “he favors” and who he has the closest relationship with, answering that it would be “my pops.” “This was before ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin,'” he captioned the video showing him cracking up with his grandpa. “Man this is a rare moment fifth is sharing with us ..both his g parents are gone now and that man moms and pops been outta the picture,” a fan typed. “I know that sh*t gotta hurt but big god ain’t take them all from u until u was able to be the Man U are today. I know ya mom and everyone else is proud of u big 50..continue to be that Man U being ..tha older u grow the wiser u get..u doing so great in ya lane..we prayin and rooting for u @50cent. Fif didn’t reveal how his grandfather died, or how old he was at the time of his death. However, a closer inspection of his IG page shows that 50 celebrated his grandfather’s 85th birthday in 2017, meaning he would have turned 92 this year.
