50 Cent Disses Hurricane Chris After Being Called Out Over Humor & Harmony Festival

50 Cent is dismissing Hurricane Chris‘ criticisms of his Humor & Harmony Festival, which was held in Shreveport, La. The reply came hours after Chris leveled his complaints of the festival lacking Louisiana artists. The Queens, New York native took to Instagram Sunday to humorously take aim at the southern rapper with the help of a few movie clips. His first retort was assisted by a scene from Juice where Flex Alexander’s character is rejected for a DJ gig by Ruffhouse M.C., played by Queen Latifah. “Hurricane Flex, boy ya sh*t is wack, the fvck you think you @fredobang,” he wrote. “Ya sh*t gets no play in my ride. LOL.” He followed that up with a clip from Menace II Society, quoting, “You know that sh*t gets no play in this ride,” again in connection to Hurricane Chris’ music. 50 captioned the clip letting fans know that he recently shared the stage with New Orleans legend, Master P, while making fun of Hurricane Chris’ biggest hit. “oh no you not gonna play that 1 song you got, Bay Bay just went on stage wit Master P. LOL,” 50 Cent’s jabs were in response to Hurricane Chris taking to social media Sunday morning with complaints of there being few, if any, Louisiana artists booked for his Humor & Harmony Festival. He also took issue with the city of Shreveport and with 50 beefing up festival security reportedly to the tune of $500K. “You threw a motherf**king concert in Louisiana and didn’t book no Louisiana legends, didn’t put no bankroll in any Louisiana legends’ pockets, but you paid the police half a million dollars,” said Chris. “What kind of b*tch a** sh*t is that?…Shreveport had cheap a** land, he came and bought that shit.” That f*cking money could have went to anything to help the youth,” he added of the $500K. “We don’t need more money invested into the police.Chris continued his rant over on social media “When I got my deal I saw Shreveport was a place that was looked at like a cheap investment but we still protected our home front to make sure we would keep what’s ours the city is using 50 cent to make the city money not the people half a mill on police Yu just fed the beast.
