Two Lil Wayne backup dancers were arrested this weekend after Connecticut police say they attacked and assaulted a woman.
According to The Hartford Courant, Jennifer Slaughter, 24, of Auburn Hills, Mich., and Della Hamby, 26, of North Hollywood, Calif., were arrested Sunday after assaulting a waitress at a P.F. Changs restaurant.
Police report that Slaughter and Hamby dined at the restaurant and took issue with the unidentified employee about splitting their check.
After leaving without incident, the pair returned to retrieve a cell phone and reportedly attacked the waitress; one pulled the waitress's hair while the other punched her.
They then threw the waitress to the floor and continued the beating.
The waitress suffered minor injuries and both ladies were arrested and charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.
The dancers were scheduled to perform with the rapper Wednesday night at the Comcast Theatre.
According to Lil Wayne representative Sarah Cunningham the ladies are contracted performers and not employees of the tour or Lil Wayne's record label.
