THESE FOOLS HAD A FIGHT CLUB IN THE BATHROOM! THEY GET EXPELLED AFTER THE NEWS BLEW THEM UP!

A group of sixth-graders clearly didn't watch "Fight Club" before starting their own copycat crew, because they broke the movie's No. 1 rule.

You don't talk about fight club.

Nine Tacoma, Wash. boys were expelled from Stewart Middle School after officials learned from a television newscast that more than 23 boys had been participating in an organized "fight club."

Q13 FOX News first reported the story after a relative of one of the participants came forward with cell phone footage of a brawl that took place in one of the school's bathrooms.

In the video, two young boys – their faces blurred – are seen wildly swinging at each other while a group watches in the background.

School officials had been unaware of the "club" before the newscast, but later acknowledged that at least "four to five" fights had occurred in the bathroom. Officials also believe that fights took place at several students' homes.

Tacoma Public Schools spokesman Dan Voelpel said the district handed down emergency expulsions to the nine students, and that the actual length of expulsion would vary on a case-by-case basis.

So-called "fight clubs" – many inspired by the popular 1999 movie starring Brad Pitt and Ed Norton – are nothing new.

School districts across the nation have dealt with them, and police have broken up rings in high schools and middle schools in Alaska, California, Massachusetts and New Jersey in recent years.
