Snoop Dogg received a lot of backlash last week for performing at the Crypto Ball, The 53-year-old rapper recently addressed the criticism and assured his fans that he is still with them. His decision was especially confusing since he called out Black people who supported the controversial politician during his first term as President. Even further, he referred to any Black artist who chose to perform at his inauguration events as “jiggaboos.” Thus, eight years later, he was placed under the same microscope. “It’s Sunday man, I got gospel in my heart right now,” he said in a recent Instagram live while smoking in his car and listening to gospel music. “For all that hate, I’m going to answer with love. Y’all can’t hate enough on me. I love too much. Get your life right stop worrying about mine. I’m cool, I’m together. Still a Black man, still 100 percent Black. Snoop Dogg received for his Crypto Ball performance, Stephen A. Smith stood up for him, plus Rick Ross, Soulja Boy, and Nelly; Rozay and Draco performed at Crypto Ball while the St. Louis rapper performed at the Liberty Ball. “Now that the brothers come along and make something of themselves, and they got opportunities that they’re willing to exploit, and they choose to be apolitical, you wanna get in their a**?” SAS asked.
