J. Cole Chilling At The Beach While Drake And Kendrick Lamar Beef Continues

J. Cole caught many jokes after bowing out of the Drake and Kendrick Lamar feud that was brewing in early April. However, the 39-year-old rapper is seemingly living a peaceful life as a fan recently spotted him at the beach this week. This is the “Middle Child” rapper’s first known “public” appearance since he took back his K. Dot diss “7 Minute Drill” at Dreamville Festival 2024. a fan posted a video of her trip to the beach on TikTok and the compilation included a photo of her sitting next to the Fayetteville, N.C., rapper. Cole wore a pair of headphones connected to a laptop and held his phone in his hand. a commenter was curious about whether or not they discussed the beef between his fellow members of the “Big 3” and he maintained his stance from Dreamville Festival. “Yes,” the fan replied to the inquiry. “He said he doesn’t even like beef period. He’s really just chillin This is a hilarious yet unsurprising discovery, as J. Cole has been about peace his entire career. He’s challenged rappers to test his mettle on wax and had a few diss records, but none more direct than “7 Minute Drill” from early April. The track, which was part of his surprise project Might Delete Later, was a response to Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That” verse. “He still doin’ shows, but fell off like The Simpsons/ Your first sh*t was classic, your last sh*t was tragic/ Your second sh*t put ni**as to sleep, but they gassed it/ Your third sh*t was massive and that was your prime/ I was trailin’ right behind and I just now hit mine/ Now I’m front of the line with a comfortable lead/ How ironic, soon as I got it, now he want somethin’ with me/ Well, he caught me at the perfect time, jump up and see,” he rapped. Cole also claimed that Dot averaged “one hard verse every 30 months” and people would not be discussing him if not for the “Like That” verse. However, two days later, he took it all back in front of a massive Dreamville Festival crowd. “That was the lamest, goofiest sh*t,” he said. “I pray that God aligns me back on my purpose and on my path. I pray that my ni**a didn’t really feel no way. And if he did, my ni**a I got my chin out. Take your best shot, I’ma take that sh*t on the chin. Boy, do what you do. All good.” He revealed that he planned to remove “7 Minute Drill” from streaming services, and kept his word almost a week later.
