Trippie Redd Leaves Travis Scott's Astroworld Tour

Trippie Redd has pulled out of his role as a supporting act on Travis Scott's Astroworld Tour, according to TMZ. The report goes on to cite "production issues" and cut-down set times for the reason behind his withdrawal, which comes about a month into the North American trek.

Originally, the Ohio-bred rapper was tapped as the main supporting artist for the tour following the success of his Life's a Trip album, but his set was then downsized and moved in front of Gunna after the Drip Harder rapper caught fire with a hot streak later into 2018.

Health has also been an issue for Trippie on the road, who admitted to have been suffering from strep throat during both NYC shows last week, as his voice was notably hampered by the illness throughout his shortened performances. The report goes on to state that there are no hard feelings between Redd and his "Dark Knight Dummo" collaborator, who earned three Grammy nominations for his work on the Billboard 200-topping Astroworld.

The carnival-themed Astroworld Tour currently has nine shows remaining in December, all of which will be without the "Love Scars" artist.
