Cardi B Might Perform During The Super Bowl Halftime Show

Cardi B may play the Super Bowl.

TMZ reports that the rapper is in talks to perform “Girls Like You,” her collaboration with likely halftime act Maroon 5, at the game.

But it says that Cardi is also angling to get her own solo performance during the show.

Meanwhile, Dave Grohl said on KROQ in LA that the NFL has teased him with the prospect of a halftime show for his band, Foo Fighters.

“I’ve had multiple conversations over the years with them where they say, ‘We want to have a rock ’n’ roll band. Do you think you could do it? Do you think you could do a stadium?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, man, we do it all the time.’ ”

He added, “We’re like, ‘Oh, my God, I think we’re gonna do the Super Bowl!’ And then it’ll be Madonna or Katy Perry or someone like that.”
