J. Cole And Wale Attend NC State Basketball Game Together

After addressing each other on wax, J.Cole and Wale were spotted hanging out together at a North Carolina State basketball game last night (Dec. 3), deading any noise that the two have beef over the bars they traded.

The NC State Wolfpack took on Boston University in Raleigh. During the game, Wale took to Snapchat and posted a video of himself and Jermaine sitting side by side in the crowd.

People weren’t so sure of the status of the two friends after the past few days. Cole shocked the Internet by dropping the track “False Prophets” where he appears to address Kanye West’s fall from grace and Wale’s issues of self worth.

The bars in question on Cole’s new track has him questioning a certain MC’s drive, which most have assumed was Ralph. “And I know he so bitter he can’t see his own blessings/Goddamn, nigga, you too blind to see you got fans, nigga/And a platform to make a classic rap song/To change a nigga life, but you too anxious living’ life,” raps J. Cole. “Always worried ‘bout the critics who ain’t ever f**kin’ did it/I write what’s in my heart, don’t give a fuck who fuckin’ with it/But in a sense I can relate, the need to be great/Turns into an obsession keeps a nigga up late.”

The D.C. MC responded yesterday with the track “Groundhog Day” where he addresses Jermaine’s lines. “I just heard a song about me in the hip-hop blogs/From a kid I know, some people say he hip-hop God/It hit home cause it’s some truth/This I know it’s a cycle/Like it’s psycho when shit get dark,” he raps.

He also foreshadowed attending the game with Cole in the song, saying “See you at the game,” which he captioned his Snap clip.

All is well.
