Will Smith Talks Marriage To Jada Pinkett Smith

Will Smith shared his secret to a longstanding marriage: don't give up.

The "Focus" star, who is married to actress Jada Pinkett Smith, revealed to “Entertainment Tonight” that even though their relationship is "the most difficult, grueling, excruciating thing" they’ve taken on, they’re not "quitters.”

Rumors of marital trouble have been dogging the couple for years.

In August, after online reports had surfaced that they were in the process of ending their 17-year union, Smith posted a Facebook message denying the claims.

"I promise you all — if I ever decide to divorce my Queen — I swear I'll tell you myself!" he wrote.

The couple has two children — son Jaden, 17, and daughter Willow, 15.

His advice to other couples: “If there is a secret I would say it is that we never went into working on our relationship,” he told ET. “We only ever worked on ourselves individually, and then presented ourselves to one another better than we were previously.”
