Wtf! Man Robs A Baskin Robbins With A Needle Full Of AIDS

A man robbed a Portland, Ore., ice cream store by holding up a syringe he said was full of AIDS, police said.
The suspect came into a Baskin Robbins last week and threatened employees with the needle, Portland police said.
The suspect — described as a white male in his 20s, standing 5-foot-9 with a skinny build, short brown hair, glasses and wearing all bright colors — took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store.
Police have yet to locate him.

Employee Katharine Pepin, 19, told TV station KATU the man entered just before closing.
"Some guy just walked in and said, 'This is a robbery. This is a needle full of AIDS,' and then 'Open the cash drawer,' and so I did," Pepin told the station.
She said the contents of the syringe "looked like a bloody substance."

Pepin said she returned to work the next day.
"At the moment I was terrified and, I mean, I've been a little jumpy," Pepin told the station. "It definitely could have been worse. I feel pretty lucky."
