WTF! J. CREWS NEW AD SHOWS A LITTLE BOY WITH PAINTED TOENAILS!

J.Crew: Preppy chic apparel seller or blatant seller of transgender propaganda?

Fox News and other conservative pundits are in a lather over a recent mailer featuring brand designer Jenna Lyons and her 5-year-old son Beckett wearing pink toenail polish. The caption read: "Lucky for me, I ended up with a boy whose favorite color is pink."

The mailer is offering something much more sinister than free shipping, says Fox News – it's pushing its own transgender agenda and liberal politics onto its unsuspecting customers.

"J.Crew, known for its tasteful and modest clothing, apparently does not mind exploiting Beckett behind the façade of liberal, transgendered identity politics," wrote Erin R. Brown of the Culture and Media Institute. "One has to wonder what young boys in pink nail polish has to do with selling women's clothing."

"Propaganda pushing the celebration of gender-confused boys wanting to dress and act like girls is a growing trend, seeping into mainstream culture," she concluded.

Fox News psychologist-in-residence Dr. Keith Ablow was seeing red over the idea of a mom allowing her son to be photographed with rosy toes.

"It is unwise to dress little girls like miniature adults (in halter tops and shorts emblazoned with PINK across the bottoms) and it is unwise to encourage little boys to playact like little girls," he said. "This is a dramatic example of the way that our culture is being encouraged to abandon all trappings of gender identity."

Ablow continued to rant against Lyons' parenting skills.

"Yeah, well, it may be fun and games now, Jenna, but at least put some money aside for psychotherapy for the kid - and maybe a little for others who'll be affected by your 'innocent' pleasure."

J.Crew and Lyons have yet to respond to the allegations that the company is pushing any kind of transgender agenda.

Meanwhile, parents, even ones who don't particularly care for the idea of letting their sons wear nail polish are protesting Fox News' conspiratorial views.

"Look at that picture in the J.Crew ad, will you? What do you see? Do you see pink nail polish on a boy? Or do you see a little boy named Beckett, with beautiful blond curls, and a mom who looks like she is impossibly in love with her kid, in the very best way?" wrote Jeanne Sager, on the mommy blog The Stir. "Because that's what I see."

Sager points out that her own daughter, also 5 years old, plays happily with trucks.
