WTF! HE'S ACCUSED OF ROBBING 3 PEOPLE IN CENTRAL PARK WITH A FAKE GUN & HE'S A RICH KID!

He's out of the big house - and back to the really big house.

Jesse Wasserman, a wealthy former boarding school student, was sprung from jail on $150,000 bail yesterday and headed straight for his family's $1.75 million home in Westchester.

Accused in a string of Central Park robberies, Wasserman strolled out of court wearing a baseball cap and his jeans hung low. He was charged with three counts of armed robbery and could spend 25 years in prison.

"We're going through tremendous hardship," said his mother, Stacy Berrin-Wasserman, a doctor and expert in attention-deficit disorder.

The privileged teen shushed his mother after they returned to New Rochelle and also had little to say.

Wasserman, who was booted from the prestigious Vermont Academy in November, lives with his mother and stepfather, a Diamond District shop owner. The Orthodox couple, married about four years ago, have a blended family of nine children, including Wasserman.

Despite their wealth, prosecutors say the teen and an accomplice kicked off a 30-minute robbery spree late Wednesday using a fake gun. They stole a wallet, jewelry and a bicycle after asking their victims for directions.

"Why is he out robbing people when he has a nice life?" asked Dov Brenner, who lives next to the family's ritzy home.

"He's the black sheep of the family," said Brenner, 49. "They're a good Jewish family and he's bringing shame to them. He acted like a schmuck."

When Wasserman was arrested, he was riding on a key piece of evidence.

"[He] was on a bike he'd taken off the second victim," Assistant District Attorney Mao Lin said.

Two of the three victims picked Wasserman out of a lineup; all three provided descriptions that closely matched the teen. A police source said Wasserman wouldn't dime out his accomplice. Cops were still looking for the second suspect last night.

Wasserman was tossed out of the $42,000-a-year Vermont Academy in November 2009 after just three months at the boarding school. School officials wouldn't say why he got bounced.

Friends in New Rochelle said Wasserman hates his affluent upbringing.

"He thinks he's from the streets," said Jared Lightman, 17, "but he's this rich kid whose family buys him whatever he wants."

Wasserman, whose MySpace page features him sporting a hip-hop pose, would constantly skip shul at his family's house of worship, Young Israel of New Rochelle, friends said.

"He acts like a gangster and he doesn't want people to know who he really is," Lightman said.

Authorities said Wasserman has an outstanding warrant in Westchester County for not paying a fine on a disorderly conduct charge. He was once busted for drug possession, police sources said.
