Tekashi 6ix9ine Associate Kooda B Pleads Guilty To Chief Keef Shooting

Kintea McKenzie, a recording artist known as “Kooda B” and a former associate of rainbow-haired rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, pleaded guilty before a federal judge in Manhattan to arranging for a fellow gang member to shoot at a rival in Times Square.

The feds say that, in June 2018, Tekashi paid McKenzie to shoot at a rival gang member who was staying at a Times Square hotel. McKenzie organized the shooting to spook the rival, another rapper named Keith Cozart, who goes by Chief Keef.

McKenize pleaded guilty Monday to assault with a dangerous weapon in aid of racketeering, which has a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.

McKenzie, 21, is one of several members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods crew who have taken guilty pleas for taking part in mayhem in Manhattan and Brooklyn that has included robberies and shoot-outs.

Among them is the Brooklyn-born Tekashi, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez and who pleaded guilty to racketeering, gun and drug charges. Hernandez, who sports face tattoos, is cooperating with the feds.
