Tekashi 6ix9ine Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting A Cop

Brooklyn-born rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was busted in Bed-Stuy for assaulting a cop after parking in front of a fire hydrant, police said Monday.

The 22-year-old hip-hop artist, known for his rainbow-colored hair and matching dental work, parked his red 2017 SUV in front of the hydrant on Sterling Place around 4:15 p.m. Sunday, cops said.

Cops approached him, and he gave them his real name, Daniel Hernandez, but he couldn’t produce any valid ID. Officers then ran a computer check and discovered that his driver’s license had been suspended.

Tekashi was charged Sunday with aggravated unlicensed operation, but additional raps were filed against him Monday — for assaulting a cop — after he allegedly grabbed an officer by the hand while his handcuffs were being taken off inside the 77th Precinct station house, police said.

“He squeezed the [cop’s] hand, causing pain and swelling,” a police spokesman said.

The heavily tattooed singer — who has gained fame by posting his music on WorldStarHipHop.com — has had more serious brushes with the law.

In October 2015, he pleaded guilty in New York Supreme Court to three felony counts of the use of a child in a sexual performance after videos of the incident were posted online.

That February, the victim’s mother filed a complaint that she spotted three videos of the girl “having sexual contact with two adult males,” according to Billboard.

The girl engaged in “oral sexual intercourse” with one man, while Tekashi “stood behind the child making a thrusting motion with his pelvis and smacking her on her buttocks,” according to the complaint.

Despite his guilty plea, Tekashi has denied the allegations.

Houston cops last week also issued a warrant for Tekashi for allegedly choking a teen inside a mall, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Video shows the rapper confronting the 16-year-old boy, who recorded him during his visit to The Galleria earlier this year.

“Delete the video!” Tekashi yells at the teen in Spanish while grabbing his shirt.

The singer grabbed the boy “by the neck, causing small scratch marks and pain” while his “bodyguards began to surround him in an intimidating way, also yelling at him,” the paper reported, citing court documents.

Tekashi was charged with misdemeanor assault.

Meanwhile, Tekashi was blocked from entering the Chelsea hot spot 1Oak last week, when Snoop Dogg was deejaying, according to TMZ.

The celebrity news site reported that Tekashi wanted to ask Snoop for advice about his ongoing feuds with West Coast rappers and gangsters.
