Stunning Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Noemie Lenoir, who reportedly tried to take her own life, may have been tormented over her boyfriend’s extensive legal troubles.
Lenoir was rushed to the hospital after consuming “large quantities” of drugs and alcohol, sources told French news agency AFP.

“Her life is not in danger after this act which our sources confirm was an attempted suicide,” the news agency reported.

Lenoir, 30, had been dating Carl Hirschmann, a Swiss millionaire who has been embroiled in a sex and blackmail scandal, according to the Daily Mail.

Hirschmann is accused of organizing videotaped sex romps with intoxicated models and then demanding money in return for not posting the videos on the Internet, according to the Daily Mail.

His legal woes also include being accused having sex with a minor and forcing someone, not necessarily a minor, of committing a sex act against their will, according to the newspaper.

Hirschmann, 29, is reportedly being held on $375,000 bail in Zurich and cannot leave Switzerland. He denies the accusations.

Lenoir, smitten with the young playboy, had reportedly been traveling extensively to see him.

The various charges and the seriousness of the allegations against him have caused her great distress, according to reports.

Lenoir is the face of Marks & Spencer, an extremely well-known British retailer. She’s also fronted advertising campaigns for the GAP, Loreal, and Next and modeled for French Victoria's Secret.

She has a child with French soccer star Claude Makelele in 2005 but the two reportedly broke up in 2009.

The model was found unconscious by a passerby in a wooded area near her home in Paris before being taken to a nearby hospital.
