The Grammy Award-winning singer joined other A-list celebs in pushing back against the legislation, which prevents abortion in nearly all cases, including cases of rape and incest.
The bill signed into law Wednesday is one of the most restrictive actions taken against abortion in the nation.
“Take a look. These are the idiots making decisions for WOMEN in America,” the pop star tweeted, along with a compilation photo of the male politicians who voted for the measure.
Fans rallied behind the beauty mogul as she tore into the state lawmakers over the ban.
“Create a new line of Politicians queen,” one fan responded.
Many other stars, including Lady Gaga, actresses Alyssa Milano and Kerry Washington, have voiced their outrage over the controversial legislation.
“It is an outrage to ban abortion in Alabama period, and all the more heinous that it excludes those [who] have been raped or are experiencing incest non-consensual or not,” Lady Gaga tweeted.
