Ray J Says He Was ‘Wrong’ For Leaving Wife Princess Love ‘Stranded’

Ray J is owning up to his mistakes.

The 38-year-old appeared on “The Wendy Williams Show” on Wednesday and addressed 8-months-pregnant wife Princess Love‘s claims that he left her stranded in Las Vegas after the Soul Train Awards to go to a strip club.

“No, I would never,” he told the daytime talk show host. “I love you, Princess, and again, look it didn’t happen like that. I would never leave my baby and my wife. I would die first before I leave them on the side of the road.”

He said that Love and their daughter Melody were “were at the hotel [in Vegas], and that’s what she considers stranded,” but he did admit he was “wrong” in the whole ordeal, which played out on social media.

“Look, she’s right, I’m not even going to defend it,” he declared. “Baby, I was wrong. You are right.”

The “Dear Santa I need a Date” actor revealed they were fighting over the fact that Ray J wanted to buy a house in Vegas to relocate his family permanently while Love preferred to live in Los Angeles. After this ordeal, however, he changed his tune.

“I’m done with Vegas. I hate Vegas,” he said. “Never again.”

“I have to do better as a husband,” he added. “I have to understand my wife is pregnant and I just have to think a little more wiser.”

Ray J, who was wearing his wedding ring on the show, also addressed the photos snapped of him where he had removed it.

“My hands were ashy. I had to put some lotion on … when I got up to the gate, I didn’t have any lotion and boom, right there, they got the picture,” he said. “When you’re black and you wash your hands after you go to the bathroom and you’re ashy.”
