ONCE A SNITCH, ALWAYS A SNITCH! MAKES YOU WONDER IF ALFAMEGA WAS THE ONE WHO GOT T.I. KNOCKED?

T.I. has banished Alfamega from the Grand Hustle Records family. Alfamega was scandalized earlier this week when the SmokingGun.com published a report and purported legal documents saying that Mega was an informant for the drug enforcement administration during a trial on a heroin trafficker.

The allegations obviously didn't sit well with T.I., who himself is going to jail because one of his bodyguards decided to work with the authorities in Tip's well-publicized 2007 gun-buying sting. The Grand Hustle CEO's voice was heard loud and clear as he read a statement on Atlanta's 107.9, according to MissInfo.tv.

"Even though all our artists and employees are asked by us to be honest and open about their past history, at no time did Alfa disclose to me or Grand Hustle what has now appeared in the media," Tip said in the statement. "He essentially deceived us by failing to fully disclose the truth about his past, and there is no place in our organization for dishonest and misleading behavior. As I have always said, you must take responsibility for your own actions. We at Grand Hustle can not support or condone the blaming of others for our own mistakes. I hope and pray to God, bless his savings plans, but I don't foresee me or my company playing a role in his personal or professional business."

Last summer, Alfa featured Tip on the single "Uh Huh," which was supposed to be the first record from his debut, I Am Alfamega. The album was due out last winter but has never seen the light of day. Mega's last big splash came at the Dirty Awards in late November 2008, when he was maced and handcuffed by police after getting into a scuffle with Shawty Lo's crew.

"It escalated, dawg," Alfa said of the November melée. "What happened with me — Tip had nothing to do with that. It just happened. They was performing the song, I was like, 'Let's have fun.' I start dancing. I'm feeling good. That's my boy, Yung L.A., he made it. I get on top of the table, Shawty gets on the table. Shawty fakes like he's gonna throw a drink on me. By then I stepped down."

It was all chaos from there. Alfa has been unable to be reached for comment since the Smoking Gun story broke.
