Meek Mill Lawyers Wants Judge Kicked Off His Case

New court documents reveal that the Philadelphia judge who sentenced rapper Meek Mill to jail is under investigation herself by the FBI.

Page Six exclusively revealed last month that Judge Genece Brinkley was probed by the FBI after she sentenced Meek (aka Robert Williams) to two to four years in jail for a probation violation, even though the district attorney and Meek’s probation officer asked for no jail time.

His reps have alleged that Brinkley made his case inappropriately personal, even suggesting that a pal manage his career. Brinkley’s countered that Mill’s a “danger to the community.”

But court papers filed by Mill’s team on Monday allege: “There was an FBI investigation related to [Brinkley’s] conduct in connection with Mr. Williams’ case” that Mill’s defense knew of last year. They’re arguing that the judge is now also aware of the investigation and should recuse herself as a result. Mill’s been getting support from Jay-Z, the Rev. Al Sharpton and others.
