Jay Z Turns Down Kanye West's Offer To Be His Best Man At Kim Kardashian Wedding?

The pair have been extremely close since Kanye West handled a significant amount of production on Jay's 2001 iconic The Blueprint album.

They have since gone on to form a friendship that is more like brothers by lending their vocal talents to each other's albums and teaming up for the collaborative effort Watch The Throne in 2011.

Despite supporting each other through personal and professional struggles and triumphs, Jay Z wont be the outspoken rapper's best man due to the wedding being filmed for Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

An anonymous friend of the Kardashians told The Daily Mail: “Jay is Kanye’s closest friend so he wants him to be best man."

"Jay agreed initially but had one condition – under no circumstances can there be any reality TV shows filming him, his wife Beyoncé or daughter Blue Ivy during the ceremony," explained the insider.

Its no surprise that Jay Z doesn't want any part of the media circus that will be the Kimye wedding, as he and wife Beyonce have been extremely private about their personal lives since they started dating 2002.

The same source also told the tabloid that Beyonce completely agrees with her husband and does not want to be associated Kim and her family.

"The thought of popping up in KUWTK mortifies Beyoncé."

The insider continued: "She purposefully keeps herself away from trashy TV and isn’t prepared to lower her standards for anyone, or any occasion.”
