G-Eazy Used Magazine Cover To Get Through Airport Security

Who needs a passport when you can just flash the TSA your mug on a magazine cover?

While traveling through the airport, rapper G-Eazy, real name Gerald Earl Gillum, misplaced his identification. As girlfriend Halsey begrudgingly explained on Twitter, he used a recent XXL cover to prove his identity.

“Gerald lost his ID and he’s trying to use the cover of @XXL as part of his additional identification to get through airport security I’m so annoyed,” the 23-year-old singer tweeted Wednesday morning.

Fortunately for the well-traveled pair, security obliged.

“It worked,” G-Eazy replied.

The 28-year-old performer is featured in the spring 2018 issue of XXL.
