Footage Of Nicki Minaj’s Brother Jelani Maraj Getting Jumped In Nassau County Jail

A cell phone video leaked out of Nassau County jail appears to show half a dozen jail inmates assaulting Nicki Minaj’s pedo brother, Jelani Maraj, 39.

The Facebook user who posted the video identified the inmate being attacked as Maraj, who was convicted last year in the 2014 rape of his then-11-year-old stepdaughter.

The grainy video, which first appeared on Facebook on Saturday, shows inmates punching and kicking a portly inmate who fights back desperately.

A male voice off-camera says, “They got him!”

Inmates who are convicted of sex crimes against children are usually held in solitary confinement for their own safety.

Maraj is being held in the Nassau County jail on Long Island awaiting a sentencing hearing on Feb. 20. The sentencing hearing, originally scheduled for Dec. 14, was delayed while Maraj’s defense attorney filed a motion to have his conviction overturned.

Maraj faces a possible sentence of life behind bars.
