Drake's Dad Goes Off On Wendy Williams Over Pusha T

This week has been dedicated to the diss track tug-of-war between Drake and Pusha T, with their feud being reignited by the “Infrared” track on Pusha’s Daytona album released on Friday, in which he took shots at the “God’s Plan” rapper. In Pusha’s most recent response “The Story of Adidon,” with cover art featuring an eerily cheery young Drake in blackface, he called the rapper an illegitimate father to his alleged child.

But Drake’s dad, Dennis Graham, backed his son when talk show host Wendy Williams decided to propel some of her own shots during her show on Wednesday (May 30). She said Pusha T’s camp was “winning” when she pulled up the cover art of Drake’s blackface to target her discussion. “Aubrey, I believe we have a problem,” Williams said. “And the problem is what are you doing in blackface, black man?” Williams also blamed Drake’s mother, Sandi Graham, for not advising her son to sit out the photo shoot with David Leyes.

She later dragged Dennis through the mud by mentioning how Pusha T references him bailing on Drake when he was 5 years old and later returning to his life and laughing about how his son “parades Dennis around in Steve Harvey suits.” Graham took to Instagram to air his feelings about the Wendy Williams Show segment about his son, calling her a “Rupaul Drag Race Queen looking B#+##^” and “Rupaul Jr” before further going off about how she misspoke about him and the OVO boss.

Drake’s father quoted his son’s 2016 American Music Awards speech, when he won best rap/hip-hop artist and said, “Watch how you speak on my name,” which he later interpolated at the very end of “Jorja Interlude” from his 2017 More Life album.
